Volunteer State Award
February 27, 2010
The Alabama Tennis Association selected Donald Smith on
Saturday, 2/27/10, as the USTA Volunteer of the Year Award
in the state of Alabama. Donald handled many items for our
2009 USTA Southern Sectional event that was held from 7/25/09
through 8/2/09. Donald also raised over $16,000 for this
event. Donald is a certified tennis teacher and helps at
the James Lewis and George Ward Tennis Centers. He also
participates in USTA adult leagues.
