About Our Center

The James Lewis Tennis Center is located at the Ensley Park and Recreation Center in Birmingham, AL. Our facility is equipped with ten (10) hard courts, a pro shop, a gym, and offers additional services such as racquet stringing.

Our hours of operation are:

Monday thru Friday – 3:30pm to 8:30pm
Saturday – Noon to 6pm
Sunday – 2pm to 6pm

Our Programs:
Our facility offers Rallyball 10 and under, adult USTA leagues, and adult lessons upon request. Click Here for additional information about our programs.

Directions to the Center:

From I-59 South:
Take I-59 South to Avenue I Exit (119B). Turn right onto Avenue I. Turn right on 28th Street Ensley. Two blocks down is the tennis center.

From I-59 North:
If traveling on I59 North, go to the 20th Street Exit (120) (there is no Avenue I exit) and get back on Interstate going South.
