Jeffrey's UAB Award
April 12, 2012


Jeffrey was awarded the week of 4/8/12 the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) African American Faculty Association Endowment Scholarship. This was a $1,000 award for grade point average and leadership. Jeffrey is president of the UAB intramural tennis team and is in his first year at UAB. Pictured below is Jeffrey with his mother, Mrs. Rosalind Byrd and the UAB faculty.

The James Lewis Tennis Scholarship Foundation was formed to provide scholarships to
junior tennis players; support educational and character development programs; and
support overall tennis play and tennis skills development.
