Leadership Camp Jackson State

The National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) sponsored a Regional Tennis Leadership Camp at the Jackson State University from Thursday, 7/29/10, through Sunday, 8/1/10. The Tennis Leadership Camp is an extended-weekend tennis camp for 20-25 kids, ages 12 to 14, who show promise in tennis. In addition to daily on-court practice, they participated in local cultural activities as well educational and career training sessions to help prepare them for their future. Pictured below from left to right are Birlette Jelks (Southern Section NJTL committee member), Joshua Dangerfield, Yasmine Osborn (Southern Section NJTL Manger), and Taylor Walker. Congratulations to Joshua and Taylor for being accepted into this camp!!
