This is the world's largest tennis tournament
coming to Birmingham and bringing approximately 2,000 state championship
players. The players will be coming from Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana,
Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and
Arkansas. The revenue impact on the city according to the Chamber of
Commerce Visitors Bureau will be about 5.5 to 6 million dollars.
