Chinonye Mbanugo, a nine year old junior at George Ward, won first place in the Play Day Grand Prix 10 and under competition on Saturday, 8/3/13, after playing three matches. Competition started at 9am and eight players competed. Pictured below from left to right are Chinonye Mbanugo (first place), Connor Jenkins (second place) and Richard Monk (third place) and coordinator Coach Kevin Theos. The other juniors that participated can be seen below and there names are Carter Busby, Jenny Watts, Abeni Perkins, Yasmin Fisher and Addy Miller. Thanks also to the court monitors - Daryl Perkins, Coach Corky Clark, Coach Rudy Lewis, Ifeanyi Mbanugo and to Mrs. Kerensa Perkins for checking in the players.
