The Coaches that had an impact on Edward's tennis career were Coach Rusty Wilkes (Pelham Racquet Club), Coach George Wilson (James Lewis Tennis Center) and Coach Rudy Lewis (James Lewis Tennis Center & now George Ward Tennis Center). Edward was also awarded a 2002 and 2003 scholarship by the James Lewis Tennis Scholarship Foundation Incorporated.
