The Team Challenge was held on Saturday, 8/2/03, at the James Lewis Tennis
Center. Four teams of 4 Junior Players competed for first and second place
awards. Rally ball and the spider were our two main events. Our first place team was the Forty Love Team and our second place team was
the Racketeers Team. Both of these teams were taught at the James Lewis Tennis
Center. All Juniors received a certificate of award for
participating.

Forty Love Team won first place. Team members were Vincent Jenkins, LaCassidy Broadnax, Antarious Render and Iesha Render. Scorekeeper was Greta Chapman with Candace Jenkins helping. Melvin Miller, Director of Birmingham Parks and Recreation, presented the awards.
Racketeers Team won second place. Team members were Jasmine Dukes, Lamar Broadnax, Latrice Broadnax and Olivia Chapman. Scorekeeper was Katherine Lewis with Jeff Jackson helping. Melvin Miller, Director of Birmingham Parks and Recreation, presented the awards.
